I'm not sure I need a wedding coordinator but I'd like to get pricing.

This is usually the statement that sits atop a website inquiry right before an email address, a phone number, and a silent cry for help in the confused moment when a soon-to-be-bride sits alone in front of her computer trying to figure out what to do next. We get it.. its an investment..and not a "Target on a Tuesday night for one thing and my receipt says $175.00" type of investment. Typically, wedding coordination packages in the North Georgia mountain area run anywhere from $500-$1,200 depending upon experience of the coordinator, time of year and number of guests a bride is inviting. It probably isn't enough to just tell you that a professional is a good choice on the biggest day of your life, so we thought we would break down a wedding day for you - behind the scenes, coordinator style - so you can grasp what is happening while you enjoy each moment of your wedding day.

7:00 AM - Bride awakes to the smell of coffee and shuffles to the kitchen of the AirBnB rental for the awaiting breakfast...errrr, wait... who was in charge of wedding day breakfast duty? Who didn't bring the coffee filters to the cabin rental? Is there even a bagel in this house?

Hire Southern Charm Details as your wedding planner. We already had this on the checklist for the wedding week preparations. We went to the store for you, arranged breakfast delivery and maybe even found a way for your budget to fit a personal chef for the wedding morning in your Atlanta area accommodations.

8:30 AM - Bride presents bridesmaids and maid of honor with cute gifts, thank you notes and mimosa glasses for sipping through wedding day makeup and hair preparations..Reality...Bride shuffles through boxes, bags, hanging dress bags, Wal-Mart plastic bags hoping that miraculously an angel created cute gifts and wrote these notes and remembered to pack them.

Hire Southern Charm Details as your wedding planner. About two months prior to the wedding, we meet to discuss personal gifts for bridal party, groom, bride, mother of the bride, father of the bride, and more. We remind you to write those letters and we help you put together the heartfelt, one of a kind, wedding thank you gift. Once you write the letters, we organize them and keep them until the wedding day when we drop them off or set them up with decoration as we discussed in the planning meeting. This includes coordinating the exchange of wedding day gifts between bride and groom at the perfect moment in your wedding day timeline!

9:00 AM: Hair and makeup artists arrive and begin to transform the bride and her maids for the wedding ceremony. Where do they arrive? How many make up artists will be there? Do they get paid on the wedding day or before hand? How much do I tip.. should I tip anything? What if they are late arriving? Can they park at the rental cabin? Do they need fancy lighting?

Southern Charm Details wedding planners and coordinators handle all these questions, months before your wedding day. When you hire us as your wedding planner in North Georgia, we look over any agreements and contracts that you have and if there are details we can't find on paper, we simply reach out to the other vendors and ask so you don't have to. If you have a favorite make up artist, a family friend that has offered services or aren't sure who to choose, we can help! We work with artists and hair stylists year after year and we welcome the opportunity to help a family friend make your day beautiful. We have a template of questions for different vendors to answer the who, what, when, where and how of each part of the wedding day.

Sit back and enjoy the rest of your morning with your girls. Southern Charm Details coordination package allows you to be the bride while we orchestra the day behind the scenes.

We will check back with you after hair and makeup, right now, we are off to check the venue, the ceremony site, chair setup, band sound check and those groomsmen who are hoping the tux they ordered showed up at the store last week...
